** The burnt oomlie wrap is a glitched item. Please read below.
*** Big shout out to 'Burnt Tame' a big big collector for providing this information through their Discord!
This is an approximation of the market price of burned foods in Old School Runescape now. These items are unique in that they can not be sold on the Grand Exchange, so many players collect them as a status symbol. These items must be traded in person, usually on World 302 at the Grand Exchange. These rates are on the high end, and if selling in small quantities, items may only fetch 50%-80% of the value listed. Wonder what other items cannot be traded on the Grand Exchange? Keep reading!
If you see something out of date, please message me on Discord: https://discord.gg/bhx8BgRFZ4. I am also buying all burned items in bulk at 50% market rate, but please try to look for a better deal! ;)
So, what other items cannot be traded on the Grand Exchange in Old School Runescape? Here are just some of the items I know of. If there is more, let me know! You know where you can find me... (hint: read above).
[Cannot be traded on the Grand Exchange]
All burnt foods
Crushed gems
Empty oyster shell
Rotten tomato
Rotten food
Note: About the burnt oomlie wrap (not to be confused with burnt oomlie):
The burnt oomlie wrap is a glitched item and its existance has quickly grown to be one of the most popular folklores in Old School Runescape. Originally spawned by @PikeySquad, @andmcadams, @data_dependent, and @mejrs in an official server, this item is impossible to get through regular means. More information is on the OSRS Wiki page for burnt oomlie wrap, but to put it briefly, this item has a 0% burn rate at level cooking, when players can first start cooking this food. Even Mod Ash chimed in on this phenomenom. Curiously, the item actually exists in the coding, and is a tradeable item. Of course, with all burnt items, this one is not searchable in the Grand Exchange.
There's a lot of speculating and theorycrafting on how this item was spawned, and most seem to swirl around cooking the item at the perfect time while your cooking level is draining, at somewhere like the blizzard before GWD entrance (all stats slowly drain to 1). There must be a "stall" involved, after cooking initiates, but before the item is cooked. If anyone want to try it out, let me know. There's only a handful of stalls that I know of, including when your character levels up, when you attempt to activate a disabled prayer icon, and historically, when you open the report abuse dialog (this one is fixed).
